Little Foolery is a creative partnership between two best friends, Alex "Muun" Singer and Jayd "Chira" Aït-Kaci, focused on producing original stories of a magical nature.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?

On the internet when Chira was nearing the end of highschool and Muun was in her first year in university. We bonded over Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach. It was supremely geeky.
Q: HOW DID YOU GET TO CREATING?

We used to RP with each other a lot in our favorite fandoms. It quickly became more about original characters and original scenarios, so... we kept doing those.
Q: WHO ELSE IS PART OF LITTLE FOOLERY?

Our honorary re-occurring staff include Ariana Maher, who takes care of comic lettering and typography help, and Fawn Lau, who helps put all our books together for printing or publication. They help us look as slick as we do.

We also have more stories than time to do them, so when the opportunity strikes we hire guest illustrators, or other needed talent/specialists, to help streamline our publications! They are individually credited in the project they participate in.
Q: HOW MANY STORIES DO YOU HAVE IN THE WORKS?

Too many! There will always be something to finish.
Q: HOW CAN I SUPPORT WHAT YOU'RE DOING?

There are many ways to help support us! The most obvious, easiest, and inexpensive one -- and yet the most important -- is sharing with your friends or on social media anything you enjoyed reading on this site, and encouraging others to do the same! Our only goal with this site is to create stories, so word of mouth is easily something we appreciate beyond all else.

We also encourage readers who enjoyed what they've read to leave a comment on the relevant story pages expressing their experiences and feedback. Many people often skim the comments to look for what other people say about a story before deciding to read something new, so please add your love to help motivate new readers!

And lastly, money always helps, as profits are relegated to our funds to maintain this site, hire more talent to help streamline our publications, and create more merch/books to buy. In short, it helps us do what we do more easily and steadily. You can help fund us by either buying anything from our online shop, or being a supporter on our ko-fi, or both!

Any one of these, or all the above, helps us more than you know!
Q: WHY THE NAME "LITTLE FOOLERY?"

We needed a domain name, and at the time we often turn to Shakespeare to help inspire us for titles. The title, and the quote from the front page, is from this exchange from Act 1 Scene 2 of As You Like It:

TOUCHSTONE
The more pity that fools may not
speak wisely what wise men do
foolishly.

CELIA
By my troth, thou sayest true. For,
since the little wit that fools have
was silenced, the little foolery that
wise men have makes a great show.


We felt it not only encompassed the themes of our works, but also how we see and approach our understanding of people in general. So, it became our title!
Q: WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS WITH THIS SITE?

We just like creating together, and this site is a way to organize the results of what we create.

We're motivated to make stories we want to see more of and immerse ourselves in, and anyone who wants to do the same is invited to enjoy what we create.

Q: HOW OFTEN DO YOU PLAN ON UPDATING THIS SITE?

As often as we can. We're always working on something.

While new stories will be added to the Little Foolery Site, our flagship stories Libertus Rubedo and Sfeer Theory are stories that will be updated serially on their own domains, with only notices on the Little Foolery site when publishing is completed.
